When working on a project, Suzen pulls from three areas of knowledge: 1. Art (Traditional and New Media), 2. Technology (Internet, Computer, Computer Graphics) 3. Business (Sales and Marketing) It is said that 'Knowledge is greater than silver and gold'...So the Bible tells us. Knowledge creates access to unlimited wealth be it Financial or Spiritual. In the age of information, the greatest value is found in the Intangibles, the ideas, the things we cannot touch and feel, the 'unseen. The ideas and concepts of the creative class hold the greatest value today. No longer does it lie with the "artists", once the masters of visulization, music and spoken word. Today they have been superceeded by the real agents of change, the idea misters who have mastered the technologies of the internet and Web 2.0. - Google, Facebook and Twitter. These are the Masters of a new form of Business that empowers people to connect in new ways - allowing them to do commerce or self promotions in a way that eliminates the brokers of advertising. Of course, there remain the Spiritual masters, largely ignored, but with great hidden powers who connect us to a higher plane. Both of these groups possess highly specialized bodies of applied knowledge.
![]() As Napolean Hill wrote in Think and Grow Rich - "There are two kinds of knowledge. One is general, the other specialized. General knowledge, no matter how great in quantity or variety it may be, is of little use in the accumulation of money." (aka riches, either mental or spiritual) He goes on to write: "The faculties of the great universities possess...practically every form of general knowledge known to civilization. They specialize in teaching knowledge, but they do not specialize in the organization or the use of knowledge."
![]() A key to wealth creation lies in this statement from Hill. "Knowledge will not attract money unless it is organized and intelligently directed through practical plans of action to the definitive end of accumulation of money (riches)...Lack of understanding of this fact has been the source of confusion to millions of people who falsely believe that "knowledge is power". It is nothing of the sort! Knowledge is only potential power. It becomes power only when, and if, it is organized into definite plans of action and directed to a definite end. This missing link in all systems of education known to (modern) civilization today can be found in the failure of educational institutions to teach their students HOW TO ORGANIZE AND USE KNOWLEDGE AFTER THEY AQUIRE IT! " Kudos to open source, wikkis and other collaberative forms of social media! Although they may be still seeking to monitize - they are, truely, the hidden ground behind a emerging new economy in which sharing information, connecting and building relationships often trumps cash.. ![]()
